Shoot under Studio Lights in Delhi
I attended a workshop for a shoot in studio lights. It was a good experience learning to work under studio lights.
It is relatively easier to learn lighting. We have a 5 light setup;
- Two Background lights to light up the white background.
- A over-head snoot for the hair light.
- One over-head Octa bank.
- A Strip box acting as a key light at 45 degrees to camera left.
The good about the workshop was that I met some good photographers. But the bad was that I did not learn much lighting. The lights were fixed and I did not change any lights just plain flat light for a beauty shot.
However, I found that getting proper expressions and poses from the model is a challenge I am just starting in studio photography and I’ll learn how to get appropriate expressions from the model. It is more so difficult to get expressions from a new model. One of the traits for a good photographer should be communicate well with the model to get the look that the photographer wants.
Here is one of the look that I got under studio light. It is a flat light with the above mentioned setup.
Any questions please comment I would be happy to respond.
